Greens Hoping To Destroy The English Countryside

Mindless fear of CO2 driven by climate criminals, is motivating greens to destroy the English countryside.

EnglndWindmills

These windmills do nothing to improve the climate. All they do is destroy nature, and thousands of years of heritage.

  1. AND TOO MAKE THE MAGNETS FOR ONE CAUSES A LOT OF TOXIC WASTE

    • Nice, I’m headed back to DC in early July.

      • Gail Combs says:

It is HOT here on the east coast Tony. 99F today with Monday and Tuesday up to 100F. Of course that is Jef Masters and he always forecasts higher than actual temps.

        • Ernest Bush says:

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. His Yuma forecast is always higher than Weatherbug. We hit 117 degrees here in Yuma, AZ, last week. It is forecast to drop below 110 for the rest of this week. I’m assuming the El Nino has something to do with this, since it is above average for the last couple of decades. There are no broken records here, however.

    • rah says:

It’s still a “developing El Nino” Ren. Starts at about the 5 minute mark.

California threatens severe drought. Does invest in water desalination?

      • Gail Combs says:

REN California needs water desalination and nuclear like the Israel.

Some 40% of Israel’s water is desalinated, and one large RO plant provides water at 58 cents per cubic metre, claimed to be the world’s cheapest. It also claimed to have the world’s largest seawater RO plant as of late 2013, at Soreq, producing 627,000 m3/day. In 2016 it expects more than half the country’s water will be desalinated. In 2015 Israel and Jordan signed a $900 million agreement for a new desalination plant at Aqaba on the Red Sea, supported by the World Bank and based on a 2013 agreement….

        <b.Nuclear desalination studies

Small and medium sized nuclear reactors are suitable for desalination, often with cogeneration of electricity using low-pressure steam from the turbine and hot seawater feed from the final cooling system. The main opportunities for nuclear plants have been identified as the 80-100,000 m³/day and 200-500,000 m³/day ranges. US Navy nuclear powered aircraft carriers reportedly desalinate 1500 m3/d each for use onboard.

A 2006 IAEA report based on country case studies showed that costs would be in the range ($US) 50 to 94 cents/m3 for RO, 60 to 96 c/m3 for MED and $1.18 to 1.48/m3 for MSF processes, with marked economies of scale. These figures are consistent with later reports. Nuclear power was very competitive at 2006 gas and oil prices. A French study for Tunisia compared four nuclear power options with combined cycle gas turbine and found that nuclear desalination costs were about half those of the gas plant for MED technology and about one-third less for RO. With all energy sources, desalination costs with RO were lower than MED costs.

At the April 2010 Global Water Summit in Paris, the prospect of desalination plants being co-located with nuclear power plants was supported by leading international water experts…

      • Gail Combs says:

The Greens in California are opposed to energy and it takes energy to desalinate water.

Wind will not do it. You might be able to engineer some sort of solar powered desalinization.
The Ivanpah solar power, in California is hot enough to fry birds. It uses mirrors.

Yes Rex, the ones in Sydney Brisbane and Melbourne were a very sad expensive waste of money. All three cities would have been far better served by building the necessary dams 20-30 years ago. Adelaide desal is trailing 10% capacity running because its main supply is from the Murray river, and takes a lot of processing to make it potable.

Perth does have major issues with population increase, rainfall and terrain for dams. They now have 3, or is it 4, desal plants, which are running most of the time, using excess capacity to recharge aquifers etc.
This is the correct water engineering decision/plan for Perth..

Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney.. a major stuff-up..
Will they still be operable in the next long-term drought…. you knows !!
In the mean time, someone keeps getting paid heaps of taxpayer money.

        • AndyG55 says:

lol… just read that back… morning coffee has not kicked in yet.
          Interpret as you like 😉

In the wrong place as well. !

    • Yep… unusual to have a somewhat Northerly wind in CA today…

Meanwhile … if THIS guy was encased in ICE since 3300 BC… well.. there had to be LESS ICE back then…

Destruction is what they want. They hate the american (western) way. They hate power in the hands of We The People.

To achieve that goal they had to attack CO2 and make We The People willing to do so to. So they invented this new religion.

Thank you, Steven aka Tony, for showing the public the full implications of the Climategate emails that surfaced in late November 2009

What a sad, sad state of affairs for all humanity.

Selfishness, self-centeredness driven by FEAR of

    1. Not being the center of the universe in 1543
    2. Nuclear annihilation in Aug-Sept 1945

has left mankind unable to appreciate the beautiful, bountiful and benevolent universe that sustains our lives and allows us to live in conscious awareness of our surroundings.

    • Robertv says:

And a human life is already so short.

      • omanuel says:

I was richly blessed by meeting the late Professor Paul Kazuo Kuroda in 1960 when I was an idealistic young scientist and he had secret possession of Japan’s atomic bomb design that world leaders sought to hide from the public.

Such are the coincidences that shape our lives.

    • Climate Gate: You misinterpret what they … LOL… I can barely poop out the Progressive Hoaxer argument… its soooo … impossible…

You misinterpret what they said… LOL
