The UK could drop off the map and have no impact on atmospheric CO2 levels.  Their Net Zero plans have a benefit/cost ration of zero.

    They should be moving in the opposite direction. If the UK could increase its’ CO2 contribution to 1 percent they might at least stay warm in the winter. This makes as much sense as raising hundreds of billion of euros to defend themselves against Russia which poses even less of a threat than CO2. And it probably hasn’t occurred to them that printing all those euros will leave a substantial Carbon Footprint in addition to devaluing the currency. Europe has lost its collective mind. As always following the lead of the US

    Net zero is a ridiculous fantasy that will never happen in the foreseeable future. It’s hard to fathom how so many people could be so ignorant and innumerate. Ergo, I believe that only the true-believer dupes really think it can happen, while the politicians and NGOs feed the dupes lies about it while laughing all the way to the bank.
