Hockey Stick Found In The Arctic!

Nicholas McKay, Tucson? I thought we’ve been told Tucson is full of weirdos.
what a crock. vinland viking farms are still frozen, and their graves still locked in permafrost. let me know when there’s happy cows and some nice greenland cheddar coming from the region.
Yay! CO2 has saved us from imminent doom! If we just keep this up, the Ice Age that was guaranteed to happen, won’t happen……………. for zillions of years. It’s psy-ence.
And all the dramatic warming in the 20th century was before 1950 when man made CO2 wasn’t supposed to have an effect. FAIL. Do these people look at their own work?
This is really old news. Search for Kaufmann et al over at Climate Audit to read Steve McIntyre’s take on everything that’s wrong with that hockey stick.
But climate forecasts are good for 1,000 years now.
yes, exactly, just like the 3rd Reich
What I like most about this study is that it shows a 1.2C temperature range in the Arctic when viewed at a decade by decade resolution.
In the Desert Southwest They have access to Peyote and Datura for religious awareness experiences. When you have access to that who needs pot!
Yeh, that one’s already been kicked around. Some of you may recognize a few of the authors…

It was just another team project. Ice cores are funny, to me. If there were farms in Greenland, and there were, then wouldn’t that imply significant melting? What cores did they take and from where? Did they get an ice core from here?
TinyCO2, you took the words out of my mouth. Why didn’t the peer review process detect that obvious flaw?
2000 years? Really? Not even a blink in time. How about going back 20,000 years for a better perspective, even further for an even better perspective. I am surprised they went back that far-usually it seems that they think the climate goes no further back than 1961.
Another result of Mann-o-Matic methods of temp reconstruction
If you torture the data long enough, it will tell you the “right” answer, eh?
