Climate Scientists Forecast Hot Cold Dry Wet Calm Stormy Weather More Than 20 Years Ago

More than 20 years ago, this sort of extreme weather was predicted by climate scientists.

Dr. Wallace Broecker of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades warned, “The climate system is an angry beast and we are poking it with sticks.” Those “sticks” include carbon dioxide (from burning oil and coal), that humans are pumping into the atmosphere. In 2010 the carbon dioxide level reached 392 parts per million. For the past 420,000 years it was 325 ppm or less.

As climatologists warned, extreme weather events that include record snowfalls can be a direct result of climate change caused by humans. No joke.
