If it was not for “ALL” the Global Warming the ice thickness would probably be 702mm +/- 10mm for measurement error.
I am wondering what steps were taken to “Prep” the ice surface? Zamboni plus a method of roughing the surface for better traction or Zamboni plus studded tires? It is hard to imagine that distance of smooth ice covering any portion of the ocean!
Other than that it was an interesting Feat!
