As temps are back below the 30 year average at the moment presumably we won’t have any extreme weather at all this year.

Our current version of the Chicken Little Brigade has been infected with the contagious disease Crainialanalinsertitis! They use virtual sandwich boards at internet sites to make their proclamations!

Why would the last survivors move to the poles, where they can still have winter
and not move to Tahiti? where nothing has changed
They think “Winter” is good and Spring /Fall are bad!
GHE will make the Winters and nights warmer by restricting the loss of heat from the atmosphere and that will result in overall warming. It will result in less temperature gradient between the Tropics and the Poles and move the plant hardiness zones further north while expanding them!
That was when Global Warming made some sort of sense as that would result in expanded biodiversity.
But NO that would not work because there was nothing to worry about if the climate got milder, so now all BAD things are due to Global Warming because Global Warming causes Extreme Cold and Extreme heat and anything in between!
The North Pole is a much nicer place than Tahiti. The outfits those Eskimo women wear are hot.
It all depends on who is doing the “Blaming”. Historical records show any weather conditions we have experienced fall within the bounds of natural weather patterns. If memory serves, warm and dry winter would be a repeat of a few past Winters just in the last 60 years that I have experienced! I have experienced anything from Friggen cold to shirt sleeve weather on any given day during past winters! Averaging that out to 35 or 50 F destroys all the signal and makes to boundaries look extreme. There are people claiming 5C difference in seasonal temperatures are excessive in Polar areas where it is typically more extreme than at lower latitudes where I have lived.
You can absolutely bet on it! And we’ll have the same cast of idiots saying we predicted this all along. And snow will be a thing of the past again.
If it’s warm, its global warming, if it’s cold it’s global warming, if it snows, it’s global warming, if it doesn’t snow it’s global warming, etc., etc., etc.
Unfortunately La Nina will be back with a vengence after July so more extreme weather, more extreme shill pronouncements to come
Haha i love how the firs post i see is that we will not have any more extreme weather this year, referring to the rest of 2011. Well between winter 2011 and winter 2012 so far record temps have been crushed. Im not saying its global warming, but still u guys need to open ur eyes, something not right is going on here.
