    In the medieval warming, the glaciers in Iceland were much much less then today. There were times in the Holocene when ice only existed on the peaks of Iceland’s mountains and nowhere else. There were other times when ice surrounded Iceland.

    Interesting, that reference to world-wide drought – wasn’t 1934 supposed to be a U.S.-only phenomenon?

    The following article presents an interesting analysis of the “Great Drought” – and guess what – CO2 doesn’t get a metion. Clearly they were a lot saner back then.

    Those locations were part of the US in 1934 just like 95% of the Northern Hemisphere was in Western Europe this past winter!
