Corals Thriving After Nuclear Blast – But A Little CO2 Will Kill Them

The military should make CO2 bombs. The most powerful weapon on the planet.

Bikini corals recover from atomic blast

Half a century after the last earth-shattering atomic blast shook the Pacific atoll of Bikini, most of the corals are flourishing again, but a few coral species appear to be locally extinct.

These are the findings of a remarkable investigation by an international team of scientists from Australia, Germany, Italy, Hawaii and the Marshall Islands. The expedition examined the diversity and abundance of marine life in the atoll.

Those CO2 cartridges for pellet guns must really be deadly.

  2. Andy Weiss says:

CO2 is an evil, deadly gas! We need to rid the planet of it completely if we are to survive.

    Steve,
    Steve,

Wow, I MUST apologize. Here I have been saying over and over again that you are incapable of admitting a mistake, and now you go and do so about one of your other mistakes from months ago.

I am proud of you for admitting I was right and you were wrong when you said that no corals could possible have escaped the thousands of degree incineration from the nuclear blasts at Bikini.
I guess you were just waiting for the right moment.

  4. PCB says:

    Plants need CO2 to live.
Without CO2 we would all be dead.
