Clean energy is infinite and dirty energy is finite, so why do we insist on ignoring the obvious?

Translation – If we covered half the country with an environmentally destructive grid of windmills and solar panels, on some days we would be able meet a fraction of the country’s energy needs. Other days we could just live like they did in the dark ages.

    The people are such Polly Annas. The big danger is pulling the plug on fossil fuels before the other stuff is ready to meet our needs, which probably won’t be anytime in our lifetime.

    In theory, they are partially correct. The greatest source of energy is the sun. Un fortunately we have not developed the technology yet to create a Dyson’s Sphere, so most of it is wasted.

    For those so inclined and rabid in their orthodoxy, perhaps relocating to the surface of the sun would work wonders for their frustration.
