For at least the last ten years, Arctic ice has declined between March and September. The pattern is repeating itself this year.
Unless we reduce CO2 to 350 ppm, this alarming pattern of summer ice loss is likely to continue.

There is a pool of unseasonably cold air that is supposed to sit over Hudson Bay for the next week or so. That should slow the ice melt quite a bit. Good news for polar bears!
