what goes around…that was my world exclusive of.dec 09
Cool, thanks.
This is the original link: “World Exclusive: CIA 1974 Document Reveals Emptiness of AGW Scares, Closes Debate On Global Cooling Consensus (And More…)“.
It got published the same day when my articles about the same topic appeared in The Spectator’s special climate change edition, and on the pages of Italian daily “Il Foglio”.
BTW…ClimateMonitor.it is a cool 😎 Italian realist website run by locally well-known Weatherman where I post stuff every once in a while. We are preparing a surprise that you might find interesting…
..and yet alarmists continue to be in denial about the cooling scare.
Dave – it’s worse than that. Our friend Connolley was capable of demonstrating that there was a global cooling consensus, inside a paper where the title claimed he “demonstrated” that there was no global cooling consensus.
So it’s not just “denial” as “neglect”, pretending nothing had happened. It’s instead a fully-fledged, wilful reinterpretation of history for the purpose of killing off any comparison between today and 1974.
Why? For example, because you can scare people once. But you just cannot scare people twice on the same topic. I dwell more into this subject at this link.
Maurizio,
I read your article. I liked it . The evidence keeps stacking up.
( that cooling was a big deal in the ’70s ) And they do just brush it off.
Maybe it is a litmus test. I certainly get enough of them, and fail them regularly . Hah
