Of course that is just the US. The World-Wide temperature in June of 1933 was 0.153 degrees below the 20th Century average. World Wide, the hottest June was in 2010 at 1.05 degrees above the 20th Century Average. June of 2012 hasn’t been released yet.

Let’s look at what the thermometers actually showed in June, 1933. The Earth’s land surface might have had 50% coverage. The error is probably +/- 0.5C. It is spectacularly dishonest to report a global temperature within 0.001 degrees.

Also interesting to note that the current heatwave has been limited to the eastern US, but our friends are saying that it proves global warming. Alarmists want to have it both ways.

Let me see if I got this right.
I am assuming that colors orange/red are above normal temperatures and that the blues are below normal.
From your second map most of the Americas and Canada is cooler than normal. Ditto for most of Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia and New Zealand.
There’s major hotspots centered on Eastern USA, Ukraine, around the Antarctic, and some weaker areas spread across Canada, Russia.
    But mostly it’s cooler.

    So this prove Global Warming.

1933 August 11th Highest World Temperature ever reaches 136 degrees F (58 degrees C) at San Luis Potosí, Mexico (world record).

    1933 Highest temp ever in SWEDEN 38.0 °C (100.4 °F) tied in 2009

1932 / 33 Soviet famine. 7 to 14 million. Mostly human caused, but drought and low crop yields in 1931 and 32 contributed.

June 1933 was by far the hottest June on record for much of the central US.

I believe the abnormally cold water in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska is enhancing the US heatwave, as it has since March. It is a weather pattern teleconnection that is rushing the jetstream across the US Canadian border, has zilch to do with global warming.
