Looks like Antarctica will melt down by 2040
I don’t see how anyone can take global trends based on the GHCN data set seriously. Antarctica is as big as the US. The raw data is all over the place, with a signal to noise ratio far below 1. You can’t detect a 0.7C warming with a data set this erratic.
Double check your numbers, Steve. That chart is not possible!
It is real. That is what the GHCN daily data set for Antarctica shows.
That chart is pure BS. There is no way they did not change or alter any data in it. Antarctica has been actually gaining significant amounts of ice since 1979, on the continent itself and sea ice. I would expect bogus data to come from a government agency like this.
Then the data is totally hosed. What does the monthly look like?
