Temperatures were below normal all summer north of 80N, and very little melting occurred. Small melt ponds appeared and the planted poles tipped a little bit.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Does ignoring sea surface temperatures helps to stand record low sea ice extent? On the other hand I appreciate your optimism staying strong as long as one cam shows ice.
Obsess much?
Man, I hate those water hazards and the tilt of the fairway to the left … course designer’s overt evil intent towards the righties draw shot.
The better golfers hit draws. Most of us who slice are OK with that hole, but I’m sure that hole will bring my duck hook into play.
Good luck finding white balls on that fairway!
Some people think those puddles on top of the ice are open water from completely melted ice. Fun to see they don’t know what they are talking about.
