Obama Math – 4.4. Million Jobs Saved

Democrats win House, promise new direction
POSTED: 6:05 p.m. EST, November 8, 2006

(CNN) — Democrats promised Wednesday to lead the country in a new direction after winning control of the House for the first time in 12 years in midterm elections.

By early Wednesday, Democrats had picked up at least 29 seats; they needed 15 to capture a majority in the House. Two Democratic seats in Georgia that were targeted by Republicans remained too close to call.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-California, is now poised to become the first female speaker of the House.

Pelosi promised to lead the nation in a new direction “in partnership, not in partisanship.”

You should overlay each increase in the minimum wage. July 2007, +.70/hr. July 2008, +.70/hr. July 2009, +.70/hr. Wait, I’m beginning to see a pattern…

It is amazing how stupid the average American is when it comes to believing politicians. For instance the current admin is promoting Dems as the party that has most in common with people who are not 1%ers, and are also claiming wealth accumulation, being rich, is a bad thing that harms everyone else. Well who has the wealth in the Senate? The Dems!!! lol

“In 2010, the average net worth for a U.S. senator was $13,224,333. The average net worth for a Democratic senator was $19,383,524, compared to $7,054,258 for a Republican senator. That’s a difference of $12.3 million”

Pelosi increased her wealth 64% last year and yet she is able to convince her puny minded supporters that she is their champion and that 1%ers are evil. She is a master at getting stupid people to believe her lies.

YOu will never see this in the MSM. Indeed, most republicans do not even talk about it. But if you dig down into the statistics from the bls.gov web site, you will find that obama has not saved a thing. He has lost 1.2m jobs since his inauguration. As a point of fact, he is the only president in history to be able to make that claim. Every other president has grown jobs in their first term (Bush 43 grew them by 4.3m). OBama is the lone exception.

  6. And he says we have to learn to live with this new high unemployment.

The sad part of this is, bad job numbers might help reelect Obama. Those numbers translate to more people getting ‘free’ government cheese—why would they vote against that?

    • philjourdan says:

But it also represents people actively looking for jobs – in other words, those who want to work. So I do not think UI (not really a lot of money there) is going to keep them from wanting a better economy and a job.

Where is all the stimulus money? At least there was a pittance from the Bush tax cuts. I never smelled a whiff from all the stimulus spending.
