It was funny when it was first released and it is still funny!

  3. BaldHill says:

So we can construe the article in such a way that what he is saying is that we are doing the world a favor eating meat, as that gets rid of the problem of the cows.
Oh, that’s right then those money grabbing farmers will breed more cows which will fart more adding to pollution, I guess we will have more to eat then.
And we need more food for 7 billion people then what we would need for 3.
So humans are the cause of all the problems humans can come up with.
Lucky for some that they can find work in the business of creating problems and then getting paid for writing reports about what others should do to solve their problem.

So it’s OK to drive now as long as I hit cows along the way?

    • BaldHill says:

And you can eat the cow as you drive along, fast food. Add a pickle or two, some bread and tomato. Way to go. Nature’s gift to let our species survive.

They overlook the major known source of hot air.

Everyone except politicians and bureaucrats know.

  6. sod says:

I am starting to wonder, how much of the warming is caused by brain farts of “sceptics”….

If anyone (including Steven) had bothered to read the article, he would have noticed that they are summing up a lot of factors, including land use changes.

so the title of this article (as always) is false.

    • Hopefully you aren’t as stupid as you pretend to be

“According to a new report published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the livestock sector generates more greenhouse gas emissions as measured in CO2 equivalent – 18 percent – than transport.”

      • sod says:

the livestock sector does this, by doing many things. for example by cutting down woods. Do you think the tress are cut down by cow farts?

your title says: “Cow Farts Worse Than Cars”, remember?

  9. Ganavion says:

Oh, how lucky are elephants, deers, bisons, hippopotamuses, and so on, they don’t fart, they use plasil or ass-corks to prevent fartings 🙂

Good point. It made me check some numbers.

There were up to 75 million buffalo roaming North America before my ancestor Buffalo Bill was born. Thank God he cleaned that mess up! Otherwise the 90 million head of cattle we now keep would be a problem. 19th century geoengineering. Who knew our forefathers were so far sighted?
