Guardian Gets The Full Stupid Award

Are climate sceptics more likely to be conspiracy theorists? | Adam Corner | Environment | guardian.co.uk

The Guardian says that climate skeptics are moon landing conspiracy theorists.  Note in their picture above, the guy on the right – Buzz Aldrin.

Buzz is a famous climate skeptic, who recently signed a letter by 50 top NASA people criticizing NASA for their climate stance.

Guardian gets the award for being as stupid as humans can be, and still get out of their house in the morning.

Maybe people who use Crest toothpaste are more likely to be conspriracy theorists.

  2. Our scientific poll of 382 regular commenters on InfoWars, PrisonPlanet, & Fark (all commenters had 60 or more 800-4000 word screeds posted per day for 4 or more years) showed conclusively that climate skeptics were nearly 0.00038% more likely to use the phrase “dog humping chemtrail moon hoax space baby gondola” than any other group. QED.

  3. Actually both Dr Jack Schmidt and Buzz Aldrin are climate sceptics.

“Schmitt, who earned a PhD from Harvard in geology, resigned in November from the Planetary Society, an international non-profit organization devoted to inspiring “the people of Earth to explore other worlds, understand our own, and seek life elsewhere.” He is the twelfth person to walk on the Moon; as of 2008, of the nine living moonwalkers, he and his crewmate Eugene Cernan were the last two to walk there.”

“As a geologist, I love Earth observations,” Schmitt wrote, “But, it is ridiculous to tie this objective to a ‘consensus’ that humans are causing global warming when human experience, geologic data and history, and current cooling can argue otherwise. ‘Consensus,’ as many have said, merely represents the absence of definitive science. You know as well as I, the ‘global warming scare’ is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making…”

Bigotry doesn’t work unless you can somehow label your target as somehow ‘Less than’. And don’t agree with them, so we are certainly a target.

  5. Rick K says:

“Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

  6. Andy says:

You could say that as most conspiracy theorists are US based and because most climate skeptics are US based this could be true.

  7. gator69 says:

More likely, conspiracy theorists gravitate toward AGW skepticism.

The Guardian probably thinks tattoos cause prison sentences.

  8. Jason Calley says:

Maybe the debate would be simpler if the CAGW crowd would just take that last step and rename themselves the “Sceptics Are Souless, Dirty Vermin Who Should Be Rounded Up Into Camps And Murdered So That We Will Be Able To Keep Our Private Jets” party. Oh wait, they are almost there already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsbqoytInTY

    🙁

  9. Billy Liar says:

So, if there were only two of them up there, who took the picture?

    Enquiring minds want to know!
