The Forest Fires Of 1910

Before USHCN cheating, March of 1910 was the warmest on record in the US. The following summer was also one of the worst on record across the US for forest fires

The Great Fire of 1910 (also commonly referred to as the Big Blowup or the Big Burn) was a wildfire which burned about three million acres (12,000 km², approximately the size of Connecticut) in northeast Washington, northern Idaho (the panhandle), and western Montana.[1] The area burned included parts of the Bitterroot, Cabinet, Clearwater, Coeur d’Alene, Flathead, Kaniksu, Kootenai, Lewis and Clark, Lolo, and St. Joe national forests. The firestorm burned over two days (August 20–21, 1910), and killed 87 people,[2] including 78 firefighters.[3]It is believed to be the largest, although not the deadliest, fire in recorded U.S. history.[4]

There were lots of other huge fires in the US that summer. However, they didn’t have McKitten or Romm to blame the fires on CO2.

One Response to The Forest Fires Of 1910

  1. Andy DC says:

If this year was 1910, the alarmists would be squealing in unison like stuck pigs. At least during 1910, after a true disaster, the public did not have to listen to all of that horrible background noise.
