Let the alarmists dance in hollow triumph from a fluke record caused by a cold event. It is actually very revealing about their lack of scientific integrety and deperation to score points at any cost.

As you know, I am not an alarmist. Notwithstanding, I’ve done pretty good at predicting Arctic sea ice max and min for the past several years over at SolarHam.com where I post as phydeaux. I predicted the same 3.8million sq km over there that i did here. The conditions this year were ripe for a low summer ice extent. As I have repeatedly said, however, we will see a slow 30 year recovery of minimum sea ice extent beginning in 2015 or so. I’m willing to bet on it, although at my advanced age I can’t guarantee I will be around to pay off if I am wrong. I guess I could put takers in my will. If anyone is interested, I’ll talk to my lawyer.
