Record-breaking temperatures for February in the UK are directly attributable to global warming, according to the Met Office.
On the night of 3rd – 4th February, the CET (Central England Temperature) minimum temperature was 11.2 degrees C, beating the previous February figure of 10.3 degrees C. On the 4th February the average temperature was recorded at 12.5 degree C, beating the previous high of 12.0 degrees C.
The record highs came just two weeks after the so-called ‘big freeze’, during which most of the country experienced snow.
Since then, we have learned that cold weather is also caused by global warming.
It’s brilliant stuff. “because we believe in A global warming any funny temps are down to humans. and they call themselves scientists.?
You see their minions appearing all over the scepti-sphere claiming to be indifferent to AGW and then you see this crap.
“Warmists’ ridiculous claims directly attributable to government funding.”
I always find it interesting when they try to scare people with the threat of warm winters.
I don’t think that is going to be a selling point for the general population, especailly those in colder climes.
February this year produced an anomaly of 0.0C from the 1961-1990 average and subsequent months have been so cold that the anomaly to 27/11/12 is 0.25C.
Extensive flooding in Exeter unfortunately caused many problems for it’s inhabitants but failed to wash away the stain that is the Met Office which is a permanent disgrace to a famous University city.
