Nonetheless there remains a distinction between scientific speculation, even if improbable, and fantasy and story telling.
Perhaps you should read the book before claiming to know the author’s methods and motives?
I do not believe that James Holmes’ altered mental state could have been achieved without some sort of massive interference with his brain. Just a few months earlier he was a fairly normal kid.

I’ve written the odd book or two myself Steve, that got published around the world. Nobody checks the content… You say what you want and make up any stuff you want if you so desire. There is not really enough time (or much point) to reading every crank’s pet theory either published or on a blog somewhere…

James Holmes father works for DARPA. The judge put a permanent gag order on everyone involved, and Holmes smiled silently when the sheriff asked who helped him. Obviously something is being hidden.
I used to listen to Cooper on Shortwave 5 days a week, he had a very interesting radio program.

Anyone that isn’t interested in taking the blue pill has likely seen and read of many occurances where the facts just don’t add up . Often there is no difenative evidence that a person can point at and say that proves it but the circumstances leave one wondering . Then there are many where the circumstances deny the official story , a good case in point is the JFK assassaination . After enough of these stories I am inclined to accept that the government , or rather some people operating under color of authority have indeed manipulated others into committing horendous acts with the object being to subvert the constitutional law . By the way there are many blue pills out there , the pabulum for inaction .
A government is almost always lying because it is run by politicians who wish to spin their version of events. No argument there. I would say that is actually self evident. But governments are also generally fairly incompetent, so it is not so easy to pull off an audacious conspiracy.
Will , I believe I understand where you are coming from and that you have a scientific mind and reguire absolute or at least a very high standard of probability of correctness in all things. I agree with that thinking and try to word my comments in such a way as to convey exactly what I mean . Another sign of a good brain is to wonder and speculate and I see enough circumstances that do not add up to make me wonder about what is happening now . Yes , I do believe that the present administration is capable of evil .
