Midsummer At The Antarctic Meltdown

Temperatures in the interior of Antarctica are peaking right now at -31C, and will soon begin to decline towards winter. Make sure you go see Antarctica before it melts completely.

The south pole is nearly 4km above sea level on a continent where melting occurs at the coast lines. Increased melting can occur in such a setting without the centre of the landmass approaching the melting point. As such, your argument is weak and the data you present is not well chosen.

If you want to be taken seriously by those who may not already share your views you must present your data in a more logical fashion where is doesn’t show large holes in understanding of Earth systems, and geography.

I’ve been offered a share in a holiday house in Antarctica. The Australian climate commissioner said that all Australians will need to move down there because climate change will leave Australia with no water.

I’m packing my boardshorts and beach towel to go swimming!! Can’t wait! /fully sarc

Here is some science from the West coast of Canada. I live in Victoria, British Columbia. That is on Vancouver Island for those who are not familiar with the area.
The morning radio tells me that the ski season has been opening earlier in the year and remaining open closer to Summer months. There is a record amount of snow at the ski resorts.
From Victoria I can look at Mount Baker over by Bellingham, Washington. It is a big white blob. I can also look at the Olympia mountain range and see that snow remains closer into the Summer months than it previously did.
Winds from the South bring cold temperatures, as do winds from the East and the North. I spend a lot of time at kids soccer fields and I know that it is colder than in previous years.
Winds from the West bring rain because the warmer air overlaps the cold air.
This is all the science I need to show me that global-warming is a hoax.

One thing is for sure. If we fly Al Bore down there with a couple of 747s full of good food. We should be able to get a real good reading on the ice thickness and be rid of Bore to boot.
