Does that come with food stamps ?
Does it matter what it’s called? I realize people need help through no fault fo their own with the way things are, and that is what the government was to assist with in these times of need, but something went astray, somewhere????
A government promoted “model economy” can hit 100% unemployment if it comes with “food stamps”….who cares about work if they can get fed for free ?
Just raise income taxes to cover it… wait a minute…
Exactly.
Where does it end, maybe with restrictions lifted to make it profitible for industry, so they can hire people that can EARN a living and the more the merrier and all those people pay into a system that keeps things secure. Maybe the energy sector doesn’t need that anymore so they can keep prices rising, but who is gona secure them when the breaking point hits? Maybe they need to drop prices too, but who do they base their prices on????

Good point. The bull shitter in chief did tell us how the Spainards were leading the way back in 07 & 08.
I just learned the HufPo dropped my account and I assume its for squelching my freedom of speech or maybe just a minor misunderstanding:)
The Anchorage daily news and NYT also shit canned me, so maybe the squelching action is the more likely assumption!
Ya should have screen captured it and emailed to Steven!
Youth unemployment is twice that, but Spain matched these levels in ’85 and ’95 too so it’s not something suddenly new:

Maybe when that Spain thang comes to a theater near you, you may have a difference of opinion.
The study calculates that the programs creating those jobs also resulted in the destruction of nearly 110,500 jobs elsewhere in the economy, or 2.2 jobs destroyed for every “green job” created.
