In 1991, naval intelligence officer Milton Cooper explained CIA plans to destroy the second amendment.
“The government encouraged the manufacture and importation of firearms for the criminals to use. This is intended to foster a feeling of insecurity, which would lead the American people to voluntarily disarm themselves by passing laws against firearms. Using drugs and hypnosis on mental patients in a process called Orion, the CIA inculcated the desire in these people to open fire on schoolyards and thus inflame the anti-gun lobby. This plan is well under way, and so far is working perfectly. The middle class is begging the government to do away with the 2nd Amendment.”

Isn’t it taboo to suggest that the rulers may conspire against the ruled?
Steven, I ‘wikied’ on Cooper, and found that there’s UFO-ology intertwined with the political stuff in his book. Although I’m agnostic on the subject of UFO aliens, this revelation does not exactly inspire confidence in the man. However it’s not a conversation-stopper. The big question for me is this: Can the non-UFO stuff stand alone?
And yes, I’m well aware of Wiki-style character assassination. Nevertheless I’d be more inclined to double-check Cooper’s factoids than factoids from sources that don’t mention little green men in a political context. Or is that little gray men?
