German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned yesterday that in the quest for binding international emissions targets to fight global warming, doing nothing is “not an option”. “I’m under no illusion that there is a long road ahead,” Merkel said about efforts to reverse global warming, melting ice caps and rising seas.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

For me, listening to any of the current sad-sack “leaders” is not an option. They are bent on destroying us all, the countries they supposedly serve. They are insane, acting in a way that can only bring about open revolt and war–and that is what is really going on: There are far too many now, at all levels of society, who have closed their minds to learning the truth and instead are dedicated to this or that pet dogma (because when times get hard–when manufacturing has largely gone to the other side of the world, and you are left with mere entertainments and services (like Obamacare; hint, hint) that you increasingly can’t pay for–falling back on your favorite, familiar dogmas seems the most natural thing in the world). And that just accelerates the degeneration of society, of civilization. The question now is, will Western civilization fight off this cancer, or continue to succumb and fall apart entirely? The Insane Left thinks the divisions that plague us point the way forward, to progress not to dissolution (so they cultivate the lies of Islamists, and the habitually, professionally disaffected, like militant Blacks and Latinos, while neglecting their own history, the greater history of their land). It is a fatal mistake, a fatal delusion. History will in the end judge them, “They had no respect for what they had, nor for those who achieved it for them.”

Doing nothing is always the best option when you do not know what the hell you are doing.
Doing less is the option!
Merkel is another politician who finds it to her advantage to be willingly deceived by the “climate change” propagandists. She would probably brag about her lifelong belief in the Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy if she thought it could win her another election. How can otherwise normal, rational adults traduce themselves both morally and intellectually by supporting such unscientific nonsense?
Is she planning on retaining more water?
Dear Angela Merkel, you’re making a Cnut of yourself.
