It really bothers me when scientists speak in such certain terms about such uncertain subjects. Terms such as “definitely” and “will be” should be reserved for knowns.
It should bother them too, but even when time proves them wrong, it just never does.

He has one, GOD. He was the last of the honest climatologists and was appalled by the actions of Jones, Briffa et al. Sadly he died a little while ago. I still have one of his books on climate. Still valid today.

Lambs book on climate is excellent and should be in the library of anyone interested in the history of climate. It was written back in the day before science turned into politics.
