I was hoping that we could completely eliminate carbon from the planet, but then I remembered that my third grade teacher taught me that plants need H2O, CO2 and sunlight to grow.
Teachers just weren’t enlightened enough in those days to recognize that CO2 was going to destroy all life on earth.
The Pod People are taking over!
“I was hoping that we could completely eliminate carbon from the planet…”
Not worth it, as it would cost you an arm and a leg…

Gator, you forgot 1 thing…….Beer
I believe the correct terminology is ‘beerium’, but like water soluble vitamins, it must be replenished daily. 😉
Beerium is mostly water with a small amount of yeast urine added for flavor, alcoholic kick, bubbly CO2, and aroma. Looks like even under the best of circumstances, a carbon based life for cannot get away from carbon alive. Isn’t that the point of those who insist we reduce our “carbon” footprint to zero?
I say, the footprint reducers should show some leadership and reduce themselves to zero first. When they are out of the way, we can go on enjoying the things that make life worth living. I don’t happen to like beer all that much but many seem to enjoy it and that is OK by me.
I predict …
The next manifestation of group insanity will be PETPLANZ!!!
People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants
They will break into greenhouses and “liberate” their vegetable brothers and sisters who are being force-fed toxxxxxxxic quantities of eeeeevil CO2
“Power to the Pea-pods!!!”
You are either psychic, or sneaked a peak at fox. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/07/vegan-students-at-calif-high-school-accused-bullying-agriculture-students
😉
OMG. I swear I had not seen the vegan-ag student piece.
Figgers it was California. You just can’t make this stuff up!
Best response- and you gave it – you can’t make this stuff up! 😆
Surely that should be iPETPLANTZ for your rotten Apples.
Are you sure you do not mean PERV – People for the ethical Regard of Vegetables?
You can find it on Numberwatch.
Will the plants rise up and take their revenge on the Vegans?
BTW – which trees do sandal grow on?
Sandals!!
The fruits of the Sandalwood tree

That’s why the Vegans are scared to death of the plants. Too much CO2 and we’ll have 600 foot high redwoods marching on Washington DC and kicking Obungo out of office! From Vega, also, he is.
He knows what happens when plants get too much power. Obungo read “The Day of the Triffids” and believes it was a true story.
Global warming as real as Obama’s jobless numbers, GOP Rep. Dana Rohrabacher says:

i just taught 40 fifth graders the same lesson in today’s fishing class.
Try asking them if 350ppm of CO2 is considered the upper safe limit for humanity (according to Hansen), why don’t we just work really, really hard and reduce it to 100ppm or so.
Think how much cooler it will be then…
I swear I’m getting short of breath now that CO2 has reached 400 ppm. And for my part to help reduce CO2 caused CAGW, I will breathe out only twice a minute instead of 4 times a minute, thereby immediately halving my carbon footprint. (I know I will be able to pick up some carbon credit cash for doing that.) Getting a bit dizzy though……………and sleeeppyy….@#%………zzz.
