After homogenization, TOBS and siting biases are removed, and the back-casting and GISS model runs are complete, it I think you will find that the breakup occurred in March this year. The apparent temperatures, which may seem very cool, may have also caused a rather strong localized reduction in the speed of light, which may account for what you think you saw in those images today. We should know in a few weeks what really happened up there. Our top guys are working on it. Top men.
