Global Warming Canary Still Stuck In The Deep Freeze

A few years ago, the world’s top climate experts told us that Alaska is the global warming canary in the coal mine.

As Denali National Park shivers through a frigid May, businesses trying to thaw out for summer face freezing pipes and delayed openings as visitors start to arrive at the park.

“It’ll be a story to tell for the next 10 years,” said Dave McCarthy, owner of the Denali Park Salmon Bake in the canyon outside of the park entrance.

A slew of gift shops, hotels, outdoor tours businesses and restaurants outside of the park shutter their doors for the winter and reopen every spring as visitors flock north to see Mount McKinley, the tallest peak in North America.

But this winter won’t let go: Fresh snowfall over the weekend, followed by temperatures in the teens and mid-20s through the weekend culminated with a record low of 14 degrees Saturday morning. The chill disrupted local businesses trying to get their seasons started.

It is very unfortunate that these experts don’t have the integrity to admit that they were wrong.

Don’t have the integrity? You’re being very kind. Some arrogantly and absolutely reject the remotest possibility that they are wrong about AGW and “climate change” as the following from Breibart notes:

“Ernest Moniz, Barack Obama’s new Secretary of Energy, is making it clear there is no room for dissent regarding climate change. Speaking to his department’s employees after he was sworn in, Moniz said, “Let me make it very clear that there is no ambiguity in terms of the scientific basis calling for a prudent response on climate change. I am not interested in debating what is not debatable. There is plenty to debate as we try and move forward on our climate agenda.”

The picture of this man on Breibart says volumes about the mentality of these people.

The link above is to Giordano Bruno’s memorial statue in Rome. Bruno was a monk who was burned at the stake in 1600 for a heretic. Not only was Bruno most violently murdered by the 1600 version of the Church of Global Warming aka the Inquisition. The forces of ignorance and superstition also ordered their executioner to sew Giordano Bruno’s tongue to the inside of his cheeks so that he could not speak out in favor of his beliefs from his death pyre.

If you people want to see what this President has in mind for anyone who speaks out against his policies read above what Pope Ernest Moniz, Barack Obama’s new Secretary of Energy had to say about holding beliefs in disagreement to the Presidents own beliefs. What kind of alternative energy is Moniz proposing to light the streets in DC with, the President’s political enemies like Nero did?
