In order to save the environment from an increase of 0.0001 mole fraction invisible CO2, environmentalists first have to destroy it.
Increasing numbers of tourists visiting Scotland are surprised and shocked by the number of wind farms cropping up throughout Scotland.
That’s the view of James Fraser, chairman of the Friends of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, who was a panellist last night, Thursday, at the Helensburgh Advertiser’s Big Debate on wind farms.
Mr Fraser said: “Increasingly, we are hearing adverse comments. Our visitors are saying they are surprised and shocked by the number of wind farms. It might be too late and people will start voting with their feet.”

And a lot closer to you — here is what is happening in Ontario Canada:
http://ontario-wind-turbines.org/
And of course the eagles and the bats take the brunt…
http://ontario-wind-resistance.org/2013/06/07/their-nest-error-was-not-their-last/
A big energy Corporation masquerading as poor little wind energy guys trying to help make our Province greener by hacking down big old Cottonwoods in Haldimand County and destroying an active eagle nest to “save” the birds has made their next bad move….They are suing the proverbial “little guy”.
In this case that is a diminutive mother of two who is fighting to protect her family, their heritage and our natural heritage. Esther Wrightman has been at the forefront of the resistance against industrial wind turbines in Ontario, working by day as a rock garden expert to provide for her family while her off hours activism has included managing two websites http://mlwindaction.org/ and http://ontario-wind-resistance.org and demanding accountability from politicians and industry.
Her statement of defence is an inventory of the series of bungles Nextera Energy Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of $57.2 billion dollar U.S. company NextEra Energy Ltd., formerly FPL Group Ltd., and owners of Florida Power & Light Inc., has made in the Renewable Energy Approvals process to earn itself the moniker “Next Error”. It is hard to believe such incompetence from a giant corporation has not been intentional. Read article
Just another day here in Paradise!
How is it possible that the proud Scots, Welsh and Irish continually roll over and let the English come in and conquer them and muck up their land again and again!
Us proud Scots left, and we did not bring the sheep. 😉
I think it’s unfair to single out the English, because the Scots, Welsh and Irish have political representatives that are just as useless and daft enough to design and make their own Eco-disasters when it comes to Green energy policies. In Northern Ireland they have began openly bribing locals to put up wind farms in their areas, yet the locals don’t seem to realize that their bills will go through the roof so to speak! even so, at the same time they wont allow Fracking or the recovery of the vast oil and gas that have been discovered, even under the strictest environmental rules. Complete idiots and morons the lot of ’em if you ask me.
Again, the sheep were left behind. Only men left.
Those windmills have bee a great suceess dontcha know. 🙂

Ouch!
Slowly they will learn that with electricity supply is demand led, not supply led.
Salmond is mucking up Scotland himself. He needs no help from anyone else!
Why do tourist go to Gator69’s and my old sod except to visit the ruins?
Where once the ugly American tourist went to Scotland to see ruined ivy covered castles sitting on bucolic estates with noisy colonies of rooks in attendance.
In the future rube tourists must be content with viewing abandoned wind farms while listening to the screech and grind of unoiled machinery, because the spinning turbine blades will have killed the last rook.
After the Eighteenth of September 2014 we shall see my dear Gator69 now many sheep remain in Scotland and how many real men and women still call the land of the Scotts home.
