Prior to NOAA data tampering, the amount of warming in the US since 1950 is about one tenth of what he claimed, but equally as bad is that he cherry picked a low point. Had he started in 1930, the US would be cooling.
Appell says that governments seek out his opinion, which goes to show that the whole system is hopelessly contaminated. Even the fake NCDC data shows only one-fourth the US warming which Appell claimed since 1950
A simple way to understand David Appell, and all the other ardent AGW promulgators in the media: AGW = Nazi propaganda, and Appell et al. = Nazi sympathizers. They think they are “transforming” America and the whole world, but they are only hell bent on war. Appell continues to submit comments to my blog, but I delete them without reading them now, because I have found he just keeps saying the same things, long ago answered–none of the AGW sympathizers (TM) listen to facts, they are simply war-mongers, bound and determined, against all reason, to “win”. And that particularly includes all the “expert” climate scientists; they are simply worthless. And the longer this goes on, the surer is the outcome–and the more shameful, and inevitably, the bloodier.

Well, it IS cherry picking season. The market is so flooded with cherries at the moment that the usually astronomical prices have come down $4/lb. Appell’s just taking advantage of the current market glut to go on a cherry picking spree.

When I started observing this topic the climate science community acknowledged there had been no warming in the US. This was in 2007. However, the problem with chubby’s claims is that he destroys the oft pronounced assertion that a couple of degrees of warming will wipe out civilisation or at least create great damage to society, when in fact nothing bad has happened.
Obviously Davey still has not climbed on board the Gaia saving vegan wagon yet.

Steve, The only improvement I would make is to superimpose on the first frame: “David Appell Cherry Pick” and on the second: “The Bigger Picture”.
Then when we paste or link to that graph the idiot will be exposed each time.
