For some reason, the IPCC was completely unaware of this twenty years ago, right before temperatures went flat.
Below I overlaid the new hockey stick on the 1990 IPCC graph – at the same scale. It shows what a complete piece of horseshit the world of climate science has degenerated into, in their desperate search to remain funded and important. They now just pull numbers out of their asses and draw them with their crayons.
I am convinced that there is no longer any lie too reckless for many of the most prominent people in the climate alarmism world.
Wait for the election cycle. They’ll take it the howard dean ‘scream’ level.
Here’s why it’s supposed to go vertical up. Facebook just opened a week ago, it’s new data center on the artic circle. They are pumping the hot air from their server bays into the artic, now! Oh the inhumanity of it, the terrible cheating of it…….Now the warming will begin, right? Ehhhh….

Also curiously, the rapid temperature rise started 500 years ago according to the graph’s scaling. Leonardo Da Vinci’s contemporaries have a lot to answer for.
AR5 will be so out-of-touch that, along with GISS and the other “adjustments” hockey team players, their mann-made warming fantasies will become even more divergent from reality (much moreso than we could have predicted a decade ago).
If they’re not just sticking with the CO2-centric warming alarmism, but ramping it up, that spells catastrophic doom for the UN IPCC and the players–especially if there is a continued dropping temperatures scenario. That should hasten the impending AGW implosion.

They’ll have to find another scare, and it’ll have to be worse than AGW. They have used this one up. Schneider, et al. were selling the GHGs cause global cooling meme during the 70s, and then switched with the money in the late ’80–early ’90s to warming. It would be too obvious to switch back and say, ‘Ooops we had it right the first time–human activites are actually cooling the atmosphere.’
Perhaps not. Sheeple–including our politicians–will seemingly believe anything they’re told, if a “scientist” says it.
Many will want payback time, and that will be sooner than later.
All logical indications point toward a severe cooling over the coming fall and the excuses played by the alarmists will cause more problems than they’re prepared to handle!!!
