The Polar Vortex weakens, and it become wavier.

The winter of 2011-2012 was warm in the US. Climate alarmists blamed it on global warming, and said it was the new normal. So during the cold winter of 2013-2014 the White House had to come up with some new BS, and claimed that a warming Arctic and shrinking ice cap were the cause of the cold.

Two days later, they had fooled 40% of the public.

This is the exact opposite of what scientists said 40 years ago, when they blamed the same weather pattern on a cooling Arctic and an expanding Arctic ice cap.

CEI is suing the White House over release of the documents behind this fraud, and of course there aren’t any because Holdren just made the whole thing up.

The White House showed “bad faith” in how it handled an open records request for global warming data, a federal court ruled Monday, issuing yet another stinging rebuke to the administration for showing a lack of transparency.

 For President Obama, who vowed to run the most transparent government in U.S. history, Judge Amit P. Mehta’s ruling granting legal discovery in an open records case — the third time this year a judge has ordered discovery — is an embarrassing black eye.

In this most recent case, the Competitive Enterprise Institute was trying to force the White House office of science and technology policy to release documents backing up Director John C. Holdren’s finding that global warming was making winters colder — a claim disputed by climate scientists.

Not too surprising, because Holdren was also pushing the global cooling scam in 1970.

I frequently use overlays like the one below, showing how NASA has successively altered global temperature data to make the 1940’s warmth and the 1940s-1970’s global cooling disappear.

However, when I start, the overlay is not very readable and I do a lot of image processing (chroma keying and color correction) – to make the image more intelligible.

I do this using proprietary software I wrote about 10 years ago for a startup I founded in London. I’m thinking about making a simpler version for public release.

Speaking of which, I had just left London on the Underground on July 21, 2005 – when the Religion of Peace did this:

This was two weeks after the July 7 “Rivers of Blood” bombings.

This week London elected an Islamic mayor, and now they have “glory be to Allah” written on London buses.

NOAA has done some spectacular data tampering with the Boulder, Colorado temperature record, knocking as much as 7.8 degrees off the older measured temperatures, to turn a cooling trend into a warming trend.

A good example of this was May, 1980 – from which NOAA has knocked 7.3F off the measured minimum temperatures. The adjusted mean temperature is very close to the coldest daily temperature that month, and colder than every day but six.

The adjustments are clearly bogus and without any scientific basis, but this is standard practice at the US Government.

In 1988, NASA’s James Hansen predicted that Omaha, Nebraska would have five day stretches over 95 degrees, during more than half of their years after 1990.

The closest USHCN station to Omaha is at Ashland, NE – about 15 miles away. Streaks of 95 degree days have declined there since the 1930’s. During the 1930’s almost every year had five day stretches. The longest stretch was in 1901, when they had 20 consecutive days. The mean has remained consistently below five days per year, with a slight downwards trend.

Same story at Auburn, southeast of Omaha.

What this tells us is that both Hansen and climate models are incapable of predicting anything about the climate. The reason being that they assume CO2 drives the climate. But it doesn’t. It is superstition, not science.

In 1988, climate experts from around the world made a very official sounding prediction that summers would get drier in the US.

The exact opposite happened – summers got wetter after 1990.

Climate experts and climate models have nothing to do with reality. They live in a superstition based world which assumes that CO2 drives the climate.

In the 16th century, European progressives blamed bad weather on witches, and burned 15,000 innocent people at the stake for “cooking the weather.” Nothing has changed. Now the witches are “fossil fuel corporations.”

Canada has had many bad fires, like this one 100 years ago which killed hundreds of people and “wiped out a dozen towns.”  It burned half a million acres.

After the Colorado fires in 2012, Obama blamed global warming. Since then we have had three of the quietest fire seasons on record. These people have no evidence or reason – they are just mindless fanatics full of rage and hatred and looking for an excuse to blame others for their own misery.

As the world continues to warm from the increase of greenhouse gases, the amount of extreme cold during winter will start to decrease. According to a 2013 report by Climate Central, nationwide nighttime winter temperatures since 1970 have risen about 30 percent faster than nighttime temperatures over the entire year. Every NOAA climate division has shown warming, with the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and New England warming the most over the past 45 years.

This is the standard climate fraud from people who are paid to lie about climate. They started their trend in the coldest decade of the temperature record. Had they started in any other decade and used the actual measured thermometer data, there would have been no warming or cooling. The warmest decade was during the 1930’s, and recent years are about 2C cooler.

Alarmists have already begun their “Arctic headed for a record low” fear mongering.

A large area of open water has opened up in the Beaufort Sea, north of the Yukon.

This was due to a high pressure system which produced strong winds for a couple of weeks and pushed the ice offshore.

 Those winds have since reversed, and the ice is starting to move back towards the shore. And of course alarmists won’t mention that Greenland ice gains have been well above normal since November.
