As I showed yesterday, NCAR has this map showing a huge amount of winter warming in Illinois.

The map is fairly precise, and 100% fraudulent at the same time. Winter temperatures in Illinois did indeed rise significantly from 1975 to 2007.

But the long term trend is down. They intentionally cherry picked A thirty year warming period, in order to defraud their visitors into believing that a non-existent warming phenomenon is happening in Illinois.

Illinois has been having very cold winters, with record amounts of ice on the Great Lakes.

Ice coverage on the Great Lakes reached 85.4 percent on Feb. 18, marking the second winter in a row that ice coverage has exceeded 80 percent. This figure has fluctuated up and down slightly since then and was at 88.8 percent as of Feb. 28. Of course, last year the Great Lakes went on to record their second highest total ice coverage in records dating to 1973.

The NCAR claim is flat out fraud, with no scientific value – and specifically intended to mislead their visitors.

New satellite measurements from NASA suggest that ocean levels could rise by 3 feet or more globally by the end of the century. The question faced by scientists and policymakers is not whether oceans will rise, but how fast and by how much.

“People need to be prepared for sea level rise,” said Joshua Willis, an oceanographer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Cañada Flintridge. “It’s not going to stop.”

Of course sea level is going to rise. It has been rising for 20,000 years – most of that time faster than now. Sea level will stop rising when we enter the next ice age.

NOAA Tide gauges indicate that global sea level will rise about four inches by 2100, not 40 inches.

These fraudsters at NASA are pimping mindless and fraudulent propaganda for the White House, with no basis in science. Sea level in the San Francisco Bay is the same as 70 years ago.

The University of Colorado claims that sea level is rising 3.3 mm/year.

Boulder is the epicenter of climate fraud, and this is no exception. 85% of NOAA tide gauges show less than 3.3 mm/year, and the average is 1.1 mm/year.

The CU numbers are absurd, and constantly increasing. In 2004, they were at 2.8 mm/year, and simply bumped their nonsensical numbers up further

They are well aware that their error is almost as great as their trend.

Serious scientists wouldn’t publish crap like this, but these are climate scientists.

The map below (modified by me to include August changes) shows the approximate current state of old, thick multi-year Arctic sea ice (MYI)

In a few weeks, there will be a ~50% increase in the amount of MYI and an 80% increase in the amount of the oldest/thickest 4+ year old ice.

The next map predicts approximately the state of the MYI on October 1.

The Arctic is making a rapid return to the state it was in during the 1990s. The map below shows MYI on week 37 1998. Note that there is more MYI in western Arctic now than there was in 1998.

I ride my bike up to NCAR several times a day, and today I went into the museum to see what kind of climate mischief they are up to. I wasn’t disappointed.

They have this wonderful map showing midwest winter warming from 1975 to 2007.

So how did NCAR choose 1975 for a start point? Their 1975 graph shows why. 1975 was the end of a strong 30 year cooling trend.

NCAR has since made their own 1945-1975 cooling completely disappear. Below is their current map.

What about the end point? Why did they choose 2007? Since 2007, midwest winter temperatures have plummeted, with record Great Lakes ice. They cherry-picked one small and totally misleading interval from 1975-2007.

There has been no long-term change in midwest winter temperature. NCAR’s fraudulent tactics would make Enron accountants blush.

Then they had Jerry Meehl claiming that we can “stabilize the climate” – on the 80th anniversary of the Dust Bowl (which left 80% of the US in drought) and America’s most powerful hurricane on Labor Day 1935.

Next up was this woman claiming that CaCO3 based sea creatures which evolved at 4,000 PPM CO2 – cant’t handle 400 PPM.

And for final laughs, here is Trenberth in his business attire.

The culture of climate fraud is so endemic, that most of these people are probably no longer even aware of the fact that their claims are meaningless.

NCAR used to pay me to improve their software. Now I provide that same valuable service for free.

Due to very warm water off the cast of California the last two years, there has been a spike in temperatures. Climate experts have determined that this spike is due to CO2.

One of the few truly rural stations in California with a long term record is at Cedarville, in the northeast corner of the state. Cedarville was much hotter during the 1920’s and 1930’s, but facts don’t matter to climate fraudsters.

California Drought Is Made Worse by Global Warming, Scientists Say

Global warming caused by human emissions has most likely intensified the drought in California by 15 to 20 percent, scientists said on Thursday, warning that future dry spells in the state are almost certain to be worse than this one as the world continues to heat up.

Even though the findings suggest that the drought is primarily a consequence of natural climate variability, the scientists added that the likelihood of any drought becoming acute is rising because of climate change. The odds of California suffering droughts at the far end of the scale, like the current one that began in 2012, have roughly doubled over the past century, they said.

100% pure unadulterated scientific fraud. Look what the New York Times published in 1992. Scientists know perfectly well that past droughts were much worse, and that the past century has been unusually wet.

These “scientists” are hard core criminals who deliberately conclude the exact opposite of what the data says.

Texas temperatures have been declining over the past century

But NOAA massively tampers with the data to make it look like Texas is warming

Much of their justification is theoretically based on Time of Observation Bias (TOBS) adjustments, claiming that people during the 1930’s reset their thermometers during the afternoon, causing double counting of hot days.

That theory is easy to test out. The graph below uses only those stations which reset their thermometers at night or morning during July 1936. As you can see, it is almost identical to the top graph for all Texas stations.  TOBS has almost no effect on Texas temperatures.

TOBS adjustments are just one more excuse to tamper with data.

Temperatures In Oklahoma have declined half a degree since 1895. The fraudsters at NOAA didn’t like the decline, so they simply made it disappear.

They accomplished this through a spectacular hockey stick of adjustments, which increases post 2000 temperatures by more than one degree, and decreases pre-2000 temperatures by as much as two degrees.
