I’m sad to report that the groundskeeper at the Greenland Country Club is simply not getting his job done. The greens and clubhouse are buried in deep snow at -60F.

Testing TOBS by station removal is a little tricky because morning stations tend to be in warmer parts of the country, so diverging regional trends affect the result. But one state had a 50/50 mix of morning/afternoon stations in July 1936.
There are 26 HCN stations in Missouri and 13 of them took readings either at morning or night during July, 1936. These 13 stations would tend to be biased cold in the 1930’s according to TOBS theory.
I compared the cold stations vs. all stations, and there is essentially no difference. TOBS is 99% BS.
Based largely on their phony TOBS adjustment, NCDC turns a cooling trend in Missouri into a warming trend.

The standard excuse for tampering with US data is that people used be incredibly stupid and reset their min/max thermometers only once during the heat of the day – causing double counting of hot afternoons.
It is easy enough to test that theory out. I generated the data for all of the HCN stations which reset their thermometers at morning or night during July, 1936. Thus these stations would tend to be biased cold in the 1930’s. The graph below shows that data, and guess what – nothing changed. The 1930’s and 1950’s were much hotter than the present.

Satellites show us that there has been little or no warming over the past 19 years on this planet. Something has changed though – the published historical temperature records from NASA and NOAA. The planet is not warming, but NASA and NOAA are rewriting history to create the appearance of warming.

NASA has dramatically altered their own graphs from Iceland since 2012.
The next graph shows the divergence of NASA Reykjavik temperatures from those published by the Icelandic Met Office. The NASA data is from the same thermometer, and the divergence is due entirely to data tampering by NOAA and NASA

They have done the same at other Icelandic stations, turning a cooling trend into warming.
We see the same pattern of data tampering at all of the stations in Paraguay.
The next animation shows how a lot of the tampering is done. It flashes between NOAA measured and reported land temperature anomalies. They are simply making up data in most of Africa.
NASA has no data for about two thirds of the land surface in the year 1900, so they simply make it up and report a precision of 0.01 degrees.
In their press releases, NASA and NOAA make no mention that their data sharply diverges from more accurate satellite data, or that they have dramatically fabricated and altered temperatures around the planet to create the appearance of warming.
Much of the actual warming which has been measured is due to growth of Urban Heat Islands, so the adjustments should be going the other way. Legitimate adjustments would make recent temperatures cooler, not warmer.
Progressive Democrats who brought us John McCain and Mitt Romney, are trying to do the same with Shrub II through Soviet style manipulation of the news.
Meanwhile, the New York Times is pushing their own fake Republican polling in another cynical attempt at election tampering and intimidation of candidates
Strong amounts of recent urban warming have corrupted the temperature record, and forced NASA experts to further warm the newer urban regions, and further cool the older more rural areas. If this seems counter intuitive, that is simply because your paycheck doesn’t depend on pushing a particular agenda.

So how did he do?
According to the University of Colorado, sea level is rising very slightly faster now than it did when Obama made the speech in 2008.
So the sea level thing didn’t work out exactly as promised. But what about his promise to provide the first health care in America? I did some research and discovered that there were doctors in the United States prior to 2008.
As far as healing the planet goes, Obama’s planetary physicians (Gavin Schmidt and Tom Karl) just announced that the planet has its highest fever ever.
The jobs thing didn’t turn out quite so well either. Unemployment doubled over the 12 months after the moment Obama healed the job market. All in all, it appears that the messiah is not performing up to expectations.
So when he sits his daughters down on his knee next century, I expect that he will do what he always does, and just read a bunch of nonsense off the teleprompter.
