Gavin Takes Climate Fraud To An Entirely New Level

Bullshit, Gavin

The last six months were no where near the warmest. During the last six months we have seen record Antarctic sea ice extent, record springtime Great Lakes ice cover, record September snow cover and an 84% increase in Arctic sea ice volume over 2012. The US had a near record low number of hot days this summer.

I saw this coming about six months ago. It was obvious that someone had made the decision that NASA was going to make this the hottest year ever, and actual facts were irrelevant.

Al Gore Predicted Gonzalo!

Five years ago, Nobel Laureate Al Gore predicted Hurricane Gonzalo in the cover photo of his book Al Gore’s Earth, and also predicted that it would circulate in a clockwise direction, making it the first ever clockwise cyclone in the Northern Hemisphere.

John Cook Says Record Antarctic Sea Ice Is Caused By Warming Seas Around Antarctica

The most common misconception regarding Antarctic sea ice is that sea ice is increasing because it’s cooling around Antarctica. Goddard commits this error on several occasions. The reality is the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica has shown strong warming over the same period that sea ice has been increasing.

Einsteins View Of Intelligent Design

Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.

The scientists’ religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection.

I Blame Global Warming

Scientists say CO2 is the control knob, and the US is about to pass nine years without a major hurricane strike, the longest such period on record.

This is clearly your fault, and you should feel ashamed. That and the record low number of tornadoes, and the 10 year minimum in fire burn acreage. And the record Great Lakes ice. And the record Antarctic sea ice. And the 80% growth in Arctic sea ice volume. And the record snow cover. And the record low number of hot days in the Eastern US.

It is all your fault – for overheating the planet.

Bill Gray Editorial In The Coloradoan

Another awesome piece from my hero, Bill Gray, whose funding was cut off in 1993 by VP Al Gore – over Bill’s refusal to participate in a Gore fear mongering activity.

Despite increasing amounts of CO2 gas in the atmosphere, mean global surface temperatures have not shown any increase over the past 18 years.

In addition:

• • Raw U.S. mean surface temperatures and daily high surface temperature records (without any tampering) have shown a weak decline since the warm 1930s period.

• Winter snow cover has been gradually increasing across the northern hemisphere in recent years.

Guardian Writer Says He Can See Something Which Hasn’t Happened

Rising sea levels aren’t a scientific threat – it’s happening outside my window

I have always reassured myself that this coast where I live has looked the same ever since I first started coming to this area as a toddler. There are individual rocks on beaches that I have forever known to watch out for when I am catching a wave, sand spits and bays that have, for decades, seemed immutable.

But if Church and his colleagues are right the coastline itself and the first law of Australian real estate – an ocean view is gold – is about to be re-written.

So nothing has changed since he was a toddler, but he can see it changing in the future because some academic told him it will.

A New Excuse From The Team!

The latest excuse, explaining why glaciers are expanding

Oct 14, 2014

Even as the climate continues to grow warmer and melt glaciers around the world, the stable glaciers of the Himalaya’s Karakoram region, a picturesque chain of snowy peaks spanning the borders between Pakistan, India and China, has long been a mystery. Not any longer though.

These glaciers have exhibited mass stability or even expansion in the Karakoram region contrasting with the glacial mass loss across the nearby Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau, a pattern that has been termed the Karakoram anomaly. For the study, the researchers collected data on recent precipitation and temperatures from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and other sources, including satellite data.

New study show why Karakoram glaciers aren’t melting despite global warming – Firstpost

The IPCC (based on top science from Prince Philip) says that Himalayan glaciers will be gone in 21 years

Glaciers in the Himalaya are receding faster than in any other part of the world (see Table 10.9) and, if the present rate continues, the likelihood of them disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high if the Earth keeps warming at the current rate. Its total area will likely shrink from the present 500,000 to 100,000 km2 by the year 2035 (WWF, 2005).

CO2 Contributes Less Than 2.5% Of The Greenhouse Effect

Contrary to all the BS being spewed by top climate scientists, their own models shows that CO2 has almost no impact on climate. The graph below shows the greenhouse effect during mid-latitude summer for three scenarios, calculated using RRTM – the model used by NCAR in their climate and weather models

  1. Current atmosphere
  2. No CO2
  3. Double CO2

ScreenHunter_3765 Oct. 17 01.45

(Note the mid-troposphere hot spot)

At the surface during mid-latitude summers, the amount of downwelling longwave radiation due to CO2 is less than 3%. Doubling CO2 would only increase the greenhouse effect by one third of one percent. Yet climate scientists blame mid-latitude summer heatwaves on this.

We constantly hear BS from people like Gavin claiming  that the CO2 contributes 20-30% to the greenhouse effect, but their own models show this is complete nonsense.

Call this scam off – there is no science behind it.

The effect is higher during high latitude winters, where there is very little water vapor.

[UPDATED] I added high latitude winters at Tallbloke’s request. The proportional effect is larger there, because of a shortage of water vapor.

ScreenHunter_3767 Oct. 17 07.40

In the tropics, the CO2 proportion of the greenhouse effect is less than 1.5% – and  a doubling of CO2 has almost no effect.
