Prior to 1938, Wisconsin never had a summer which didn’t reach 95 degrees. They happen all the time now. In 1936, Stanley, Wisconsin reached 113 degrees.

Prior to 1950, the Midwest never had a summer which didn’t reach 100 degrees. Summers which don’t reach 100 degrees happen all the time now, with the last two summers among the coolest on record.

According the University of Colorado, sea level is rising much faster than 85% of tide gauges show, and forming a massive mound near the Philippines. Apparently they believe that water likes to pile up in mounds, and to help visualize their BS I created a 3D animation.

And one more minor detail. They used to have the map below on their site, but have removed it. It showed that their error was almost as large as their trend – meaning their data is basically worthless

This complete garbage forms the basis of the IPCC claim that sea level rise suddenly doubled in 1992, when they switched measurement systems.

The maximum temperature in Illinois on July 14 this year was 82 degrees, up from 80 degrees last year and 29 degrees cooler than 1936 and 1954.

July 14 temperatures in Illinois are declining at 3.1 degrees per century. The last 100 degree reading in Illinois on July 14 was 1988, the year Hansen gave his global warming testimony to Congress.

Five day forecasts are difficult, but 36,525 day forecasts are a walk in the park for climate modelers armed with supercomputers.

Progressives normally blame the 1934 drought on farmers, saying that they caused the Dust Bowl.

This is a fascinating theory, given that the 1934 drought covered 70% of the US, the Dust Bowl didn’t start until 1935, and it only covered a small area around the Oklahoma Panhandle.

So other than having everything wrong temporally and spatially, progressives did find yet another way to blame productive people for providing them with an essential commodity.
