Obama Says Snowpack Is Declining

Obama, who cited fires in Western states, smaller snow packs in mountainous tourist areas, and flooding streets in cities like Miami to make his case about the fallout from climate change.

Miami was nearly wiped off the map by a hurricane in 1926. Florida is having their longest period on record without a hurricane strike, but they had street flooding and that proves catastrophic climate change.

The president says he doesn’t have any time to talk to global warming skeptics, but considers himself an expert about their beliefs.

Excerpts From The 1983 Climate Report

Rapid climate change to begin any century now.

EXCERPTS FROM THE CLIMATE REPORT

Published: October 21, 1983

Rapid climate change will take its place among the numerous other changes that will influence the course of society

we are deeply concerned about environmental changes of this magnitude; man-made emissions of greenhouse gases promise to impose a warming of unusual dimensions on a global climate that is already unusually warm. We may get into trouble in ways that we have barely imagined, like release of methane from marine sediments.

the ” CO2 problem” appears intractable. Viewed as a problem of changes in local environmental factors – rainfall, river flow, sea level – the myriad of individual incremental problems

And the same BS from Obama today

“One of the most significant long-term challenges that our country and our planet face (is) the growing threat of a rapidly-changing climate,” the president said at the school in Anaheim. “The overwhelming judgment of science, accumulated and measured and reviewed over decades, has put that to rest. The question (now) is whether we have the will to act before it’s too late.”

Obama told those in attendance that they must respond now to protect children and future generations — a theme he has repeated after announcing in recent weeks new rules for reducing carbon emission for plants that burn fossil fuel.

“We also have to realize, as hundreds of scientists declared last month, that climate change is no longer a distant threat but ‘has moved firmly into the present,’” said Obama in the ongoing effort by him and his supporters to win the debate on global warming and its possible causes. “The overwhelming majority of scientists who work on climate change, including some who once disputed the data, have put the debate to rest.”

550 PPM CO2 Will Have Very Little Impact On The Climate

An increase of atmospheric CO2 to 550 PPM will increase the greenhouse effect by less than one fourth of one percent, according to the radiative transfer model used by Kevin Trenberth.

He knows this, yet pushes the global warming scam anyway.

Putting The Methane Scam To Bed

One of the standard alarmist claims is that Methane is 30 times more potent than CO2 at wrecking the climate, and that cow farts threaten the future of humanity.

Radiative transfer model show that methane has almost no effect on the radiative balance of the atmosphere, and that even very large increases in methane have essentially no effect.

As with everything else about this scam, the claims about Methane are pure, unadulterated BS.

Zeke’s Nature Trick

Zeke wants me to use temperature anomalies instead of absolute temperatures. Here is why you can’t do that.

The graph below shows how NCDC tampers with the US temperature record, to create a non-existent warming trend.

ScreenHunter_235 Jun. 01 15.26

Here is NCDC’s 1991 version of US temperatures in absolute temperatures.

ScreenHunter_464 Jun. 14 05.25 www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/cmb/bams-sotc/climate-assessment-1981-1990.pdf

The next graph shows the NCDC 1991 version and 2014 version in absolute temperatures. They have cooled the past.

ScreenHunter_471 Jun. 14 06.18

Now look what happens if I use temperature anomalies, as Zeke demands. As long as they cool all of the years during the baseline period by an approximately equal amount, most of the data tampering during that period is hidden.

ScreenHunter_470 Jun. 14 06.17

The trick NCDC pulls is to stop cooling temperatures after the end of the baseline period. This allows them to create a huge fake warming in recent years, which is largely hidden using anomalies.

By using Zeke’s method, the data tampering becomes invisible. Is it his goal to hide the tampering, or does he just not understand what he is doing?

EPA Says That Winter 2014 Wasn’t Cold In The US

The EPA says that the coldest winter on record in the US wasn’t cold. They show that 20% of the US was cold this past winter, making it one of the warmest winters on record in the US.

NOAA shows that 74% of the US was below normal temperature, 54% was more than two degrees below normal, and 24% was more than four degrees below normal.

The White House blames the poor economy on the cold winter, which the EPA says never happened. This is the same EPA which is trying to destroy the US coal industry, in order to keep the US from overheating.

The Commerce Department report offers more evidence of how the bitterly cold winter hit the economy. With temperatures in some states at 30-year lows and snows reaching as far south as Atlanta, Georgia, consumers cut back.
