Amazing What People Can Survive

Last Friday a 24 year old Fort Collins woman slammed her car at 55 MPH into the back of a school bus, which was stopped to pick up a child along a rural road. Somehow she seems to have survived the crash.

The impact threw the bus forward 18 feet. None of the children were seriously injured,

Heidi Central Says That Sea Level Rise “Is Already Happening”

Dr. Ben Strauss, director of the Program on Sea Level Rise at Climate Central, a nonprofit organization dedicated to communicating the science and effects of climate change.

Sea level rise is already happening, and its continuation is inevitable,” Strauss says. “At some point it will be obvious to every family living in a coastal area, and every community will be looking to protect itself.”

Rising tides threaten communities on the beach — and far from it, too

Sea level has been rising for 20,000 years – when it was 120 metres lower and people walked across the Bering Strait. It has nothing to do with Mann-made CO2.

The same question arises every day. Why are these people being intentionally deceptive?

Sneaky Sea Level Rise Bypasses California

Sea level experts in California say that the state is threatened by sea level rise, because they lack access to the Internet or any other sources of actual data.

Los Angeles, California is a huge, coastal metropolitan area home to about 12 million people. By 2050, the city’s infrastructure, museums, and historic buildings will be at risk from rising sea level according to a University of South California study released earlier this year.

Global Warming Poses Huge Challenge to Cities

It also appears that they lack access to a conscience or any integrity, as sea level is not rising in California.

West Antarctic ice sheet and CO2 greenhouse effect: a threat of disaster

J. H. MERCER

Institute of Polar Studies, The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio 43210

If the global consumption of fossil fuels continues to grow at its present rate, atmospheric CO2 content will double in about 50 years. Climatic models suggest that the resultant greenhouse-warming effect will be greatly magnified in high latitudes. The computed temperature rise at lat 80° S could start rapid deglaciation of West Antarctica, leading to a 5 m rise in sea level.
