The US and UN are going full steam ahead with the big climate lie.

YOKOHAMA, Japan (AP) — If the world doesn’t cut pollution of heat-trapping gases, the already noticeable harms of global warming could spiral “out of control,” the head of a United Nations scientific panel warned Monday.

And he’s not alone. The Obama White House says it is taking this new report as a call for action, with Secretary of State John Kerry saying “the costs of inaction are catastrophic.”

Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that issued the 32-volume, 2,610-page report here early Monday, told The Associated Press: “it is a call for action.” Without reductions in emissions, he said, impacts from warming “could get out of control.”

There is no evidence to back up anything they are saying, and there is nothing the US could do even if there was a problem. China emits twice as much CO2 as the US.

A favorite scam of alarmists is to say that the US temperature trend is different from the rest of the world, but there isn’t a serious scientist on the planet who believes the US trend could diverge from the global trend for 80 years. That is why they tamper so hard with the US data.

Global warming hysteria is taking its toll on the poor and elderly. Biofuels have raised the cost of food, and green regulations have made electricity prices skyrocket. Without fossil fuels, tens of millions would have frozen this winter in the US, and we would all starve. Every tree would be cut down. The air would be filthy from the smoke of burning wood.

Greens are the useful idiots of Malthusians.

March 28th global sea ice area is ninth highest on record, and higher than every year from 1983 to 1993. Experts say that polar amplification and sea ice loss are centerpieces of global warming theory.

In the blockbuster movie Noah, god is a similar character to Prince Philip. He wants the animals to survive, and the humans to go extinct. Russell Crowe genuinely wants to kill his family in order to keep the WWF happy, but relents at the last minute and thwarts the WWF’s attempt to make humans go extinct.

If you were expecting the movie to be anything like the Biblical story of the same name, you would better off staying home and watching Gilligan’s Island reruns.

Anyone who makes an alarmist prediction may not be questioned. If the Mayan Calendar says the world is coming to an end on December 20, 2012 – and then it actually happens. Who would want to be culpable for questioning it?

Likewise, when the eminent Dr. Paul Ehrlich said that we would all be dead by 1980, what if turned out that he was correct? Same for the CIA’s dire warnings of global cooling in 1974.

If an alarmist says something bad is going to happen, you should be required by law to listen to them.
