In 1997, GISS showed a strong warming trend in the Southern Hemisphere from 1880 to 1910. Now they show a strong cooling trend during that same period. All to a precision of 0.01 degrees.

Global warming caused record Australian heatwave, top scientists conclude

Here’s something that will raise the temperature of the global warming debate even further. Australian scientists have concluded that the island continent’s heatwave last year only broke records because of man-made climate change

As usual, the scientists have no clue what they are talking about, and the sole purpose of their research is to keep their funding from drying up.

USHCN V1 had 0.5F adjustments, which went flat after 1990. The adjustments were upwards, and primarily after 1960.

In USHCN V2.5 the adjustments are three times as large as V1, mostly downwards, and increase exponentially after 1990 – instead of going flat like in V1.

The next graph overlays both. They claim to be using the same TOBS algorithm – which is amazing considering it used to be a positive adjustment, and is now a negative adjustment.

The next image normalizes the two graphs from 1960 to 1997. In this one you can see the massive discontinuity of cheating after 1997.

Next image is normalized to 1998/1999 and shows how they cooled the past 0.4F beyond their original V1 data tampering – in addition to all their post-1997 V2 upwards data tampering.

Settled science at its worst.

President Obama won’t stop Iran from getting nukes, or Russia from invading Ukraine – but he was successful at stopping school children from visiting the White House, tourists from visiting the National Parks, and tried to stop veterans from reaching the WWII memorial last summer.

January-March temperatures in the western Great Lakes states of Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio – are the lowest on record.

This is not surprising, because they also have the most ice on record.

Skeptics need to stop playing along that this is about science. It never was, and certainly isn’t now. There isn’t one shred of evidence or even a pretense of science remaining in the global warming scam.

Joe D’Aleo sent this over. NCDC shows -5.5F anomaly in Connecticut as near average, but +2.6F in California as much above average.

The Met Office got every seasonal forecast wrong for about five years, before they abandoned them. But they are back now with unverifiable 25 year forecasts :
