The US Drought Monitor says we are having drought, while the Washington Post says it is the wettest year ever here.

Unnecessary prescription of antibiotics kill 12 people every five hours.

More than two million people are infected by drug-resistant germs each year, and 23,000 die of their infections, federal health officials reported Monday. The biggest killer by far is C. difficile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports in its first big overview of a growing problem.

Doctors have been warning of the problem for decades, yet up to half the prescriptions written for antibiotics are unnecessary, the CDC report says. And all these unneeded antibiotics are making the superbug problem worse.

Our friends started the fake “1,000 year” flood rumor which is all over the news, and now they want us to believe that they didn’t do it. Same plausible deniability story which happens with every unusual weather event – start a wildly exaggerated rumor, and then claim innocence.

This is particularly shocking – now that the Washington Post says that 2013 is the wettest year on record here.

We have already seen this year tropical storms in the tropics, tornadoes in tornado alley, floods on the flood plain, and forest fires in the forest.

If we don’t raise taxes – soon we will have snow in the winter, darkness at night, and high tides in the ocean. Even more frightening is the prospect that all seven billion people on Earth are likely to die in the next 200 years.

It is time to stop listening to flat earther’s, and accept the fact that CO2 controls all physical properties of the universe.

Imagine if African American men and boys were committing mass shootings

If Americans ask the right questions on gun issues, we will get the right answers. These answers will encourage white men to examine their role in their own culture and to help other white men and boys become healthier and less violent.

Why do almost all  shootings occur in heavily Democratic voting gun-free zones?
