How Do You Spell KKK Backwards?

If any other president had singled out a black man for killing a white man, he would have been run out of office as a closet KKK member. His behavior would have been roundly condemned as abhorrent, racist and overstepping the boundaries between the executive and judicial boundaries.

Obama does exactly the same thing, and praise gets heaped on him.

White House Accuses People Who Want To Stop Illegal Secret Spying Of Not Being “Open”

After being caught illegally spying on everyone for the last five years, Obama complains that people who want to stop him are not being open.

The White House took the rare step of releasing a statement opposing an amendment to a House bill Tuesday night, taking aim at a measure that would shut down significant parts of the National Security Agency’s surveillance activities.

In the statement, White House spokesman Jay Carney accused Republican lawmakers of trying to “hastily dismantle one of our Intelligence Community’s counterterrorism tools” and said the “blunt approach is not the product of an informed, open or deliberative process.”

The House is preparing to vote on an amendment, written by Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., that would cut off funds to the NSA if it collects data on individuals who are not under investigation — a move that would effectively shut down the sweeping Internet and phone data collection programs that have been revealed in news reports.

The Only Reason Obama Got Involved In The Zimmerman Case

Obama assumed that because Zimmerman’s skin color was lighter than Martin’s, that Zimmerman had committed a hate crime.

In Obama’s world, people are judged by the color of their skin, rather than evidence. Never mind that the jury and the FBI found no evidence that anything Obama was saying had any basis in fact.

That is called being a racist.

Bush Assigned Military Combat Brigades For Use In The US

Read my lips – no new Bushes.

November 02, 2008

In the next three years the military plans to activate and train an estimated 4,700 service members for specialized domestic operations, according to Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of U.S. Northern Command, which was created in 2002 for homeland defense missions.

“This isn’t a military police brigade or a civil affairs brigade. This is actually a combat brigade being assigned a domestic mission,” said Mike German, national security counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union’s legislative office in Washington., D.C.

The ACLU filed a Freedom of Information Act Request last week with the Department of Justice and the Pentagon asking for records relating to the assignment of domestic forces to the Northern Command.

“One of our founding touchstones of democracy is that the military is not to be used against the American people. Over a hundred years ago that sentiment was put into law in the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibited the military from being involved in law enforcement functions,” German said. “Our hope is to find as much information as we can to challenge whether this is appropriate or not and to create some public awareness about what’s going on”

Now the commander of Northern Command claims that at least two more military units will be stationed inside the county in the next two years, contributing to an estimated total of 4,700 specially trained service members.

Kiwi Forecasts That Water Will No Longer Freeze At -30C

Once the summer sea ice has gone, it’s only a question of how long it will take for the winter ice to disappear.

Arctic sea ice time bomb ticking: the bang’s gonna be huge

The North Pole receives no sunlight for six months a year, and temperatures average -30C during the winter. It isn’t clear to me how anyone could possibly be stupid enough to believe that water won’t freeze at temperatures that cold.

The EPA says that the 193o’s heatwaves were the worst in US history

Hansen says that heatwaves were impossible in the 1930s.

We conclude that extreme heat waves, such as that in Texas and Oklahoma in 2011 and Moscow in 2010, were “caused” by global warming, because their likelihood was negligible prior to the recent rapid global warming. We discuss practical implications of this substantial, growing climate change.
