Cars kill about one million people a year around the world, and maim millions of others. No background check is required to purchase one of these killing machines. They are often used to transport terrorists, pressure cookers and other terrorist bombs, and they hurt countless thousands of school children.

Common sense says that these instruments of murder and mayhem need to be banned. At a minimum, people need to spy on their driving neighbors for any sign of mental instability and report what they see to the government.

Failure to report that your driving neighbor had a bad day should be punishable as a criminal offense. Also, if you see your neighbor with a pressure cooker, or are suspicious that they have explosives in their underwear, call the KGB immediately.

Interesting reading comments about the Zimmerman trial on different news sites. A large percentage of the population are desperately hoping that the jury rules that it is illegal to defend yourself.

How many years of brainwashing does it take to make half the population completely demented. self hateful, and suicidal?

Self defense is only acceptable if

1. You are in a coma
2. You are dead
3. You can prove that the next punch would have been fatal
4. You are a policeman, and the other person made a frightening movement which caused you to shoot him 27 times.
5. You are a policeman, and the other person was holding a flashlight.

We learned from this trial that hands are not weapons and can not be used to hurt people. Millions of domestic abusers will be thrilled to have their convictions overturned.

What’s the going rate for the US ambassadorship to London? Apparently around $2.3 million, judging by President Obama’s latest appointment to the Court of St. James’s, the most prestigious diplomatic posting in the world for a US official. This is the amount personally raised by Matthew Barzun, the chief fundraiser (finance chairman) for Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, which raked in $730 million in total. Mr Barzun, an internet businessman, was handpicked by the White House to be Obama’s representative in London, despite the fact he has no connection to modern-day Britain and his main qualification for the job appears to be that he has been an effective “bundler” for Barack Obama’s two successful presidential election campaigns.

Florida hasn’t been hit by a hurricane in almost 8 years, the longest hurricane-free period on record. In the 19th century, Florida averaged about one hurricane per year – compared to one every other year now.
