Colorado Extreme Drought Claims More Victims
The US Drought Monitor says that Colorado is under extreme drought.
Sun April 21, 2013
(CNN) — In Colorado’s deadliest avalanche accident in more than 50 years, five members of a backcountry snowboarder group were found dead Saturday after they were buried in snow on a high mountain pass in Colorado’s White River National Forest, officials from the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office told CNN.
A sixth member of the group survived by digging himself out of the snow. He hiked a few hundred yards to a road and flagged down workers with the Colorado Department of Transportation, Sheriff Don Kruger said. Search teams have recovered the five bodies from the scene.
The avalanche occurred at Loveland Pass, which is located about 50 miles west of Denver at an elevation of 11,990 feet, the officials said.

“Affordable Healthcare Act” To Make Health Care Costs Skyrocket
Health Actuaries: Obamacare Rates Will Soar
THURSDAY, April 18, 2013 (Kaiser Health News) — Few aspects of the Affordable Care Act are more critical to its success than affordability, but in recent weeks experts have predicted costs for some health plans could soar next year.
The committee was discussing a study published last month by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) predicting that, thanks to sicker patients joining the coverage pool, medical claims per member will rise 32 percent in the individual plans expected to dominate the ACA exchanges next year. In some states costs will rise as much as 80 percent, the report said.

Extreme Drought – With Normal Snowpack
The US Drought Monitor shows northwestern Colorado in extreme drought, despite the fact that they have had dozens of snowstorms and the snowpack in the mountains is normal .
Northeastern Wyoming has more than 200% of normal snowpack, and is listed as being under extreme drought.
At some point they are going to have to accept the fact that the permanent drought of 2012 is over.

“The Tsarnaev brothers were double agents who decoyed US into terror trap”
The big questions buzzing over Boston Bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev have a single answer: It emerged in the 102 tense hours between the twin Boston Marathon bombings Monday, April 15 – which left three dead, 180 injured and a police officer killed at MIT – and Dzohkhar’s capture Friday, April 19 in Watertown.
The conclusion reached by DEBKAfile’s counterterrorism and intelligence sources is that the brothers were double agents, hired by US and Saudi intelligence to penetrate the Wahhabi jihadist networks which, helped by Saudi financial institutions, had spread across the restive Russian Caucasian.
Instead, the two former Chechens betrayed their mission and went secretly over to the radical Islamist networks.
The Tsarnaev brothers were double agents who decoyed US into terror trap
Law enforcement was frantically looking for bombs at the start and finish lines – before the bombings occurred.
University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.
“They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it’s just a training exercise,” Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.
Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He’s been in plenty of marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security before.
“Evidently, I don’t believe they were just having a training exercise,” Stevenson said. “I think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in.”
The FBI revealed on Friday that they had interviewed Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011, after a foreign government alerted officials that he had possible ties to extremists.
Federal officials vetted Tamerlan Tsarnaev but their probe not produce any ‘derogatory’ information and the matter was put ‘to bed,’ a U.S. law enforcement source said.
The revelation is the first indication that Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother, Dzhokhar, were known to U.S. security officials prior to Monday’s bombings, U.S. authorities said.
Obama praised Putin for his help, which occurred before the suspects were ID’d as Russians. And the boy’s relatives said that some third party had radicalized them over the past few months.
The uncle of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects told TODAY Saturday that he believes Dzhokar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were pawns in a deadly scheme.
“I strongly believe they were just puppets and executors of something of bigger scale,” Ruslan Tsarni told Savannah Guthrie.

CSIRO’s Nature Trick
Check out this sea level graph from CSIRO, which is constructed to deceive the reader.
:: Sea-level Rise :: CSIRO & ACECRC
Note that the satellite trend since 1992 is much steeper than the tide gauge trend, but they did two tricks to fool gullible people into believing otherwise.
- They truncated the tide gauge data at 2009, during a small uptick.
- They smeared a blue error bar above the satellite data, and did not provide an error bar for the satellite trend.
Their intent was create the impression that sea level rise rates have increased since 1992, which is not true and a blatant attempt to deceive the reader.
h/t to T.O.O. for being one of the gullible people who fell for their trick. Here is the graph with the trends projected to 2030. Also note that we are well below the 1930 to 1960 trend line.

Living In Mindless Fear
Unless you live in an area which is 90+% Democratic, chances are that you are very safe from violence. The violent crime rate in the US is quite low outside of the inner cities.
But politicians and the press work very hard to make Americans afraid of each other, afraid of guns, afraid of global warming, afraid of terrorists, afraid of their own shadows …. This all plays into the politicians hands.
The biggest dangers most Americans face are driving and sexually transmitted diseases. Americans are more likely to be hit by lightning than by a bullet from an “assault rifle” – but cable new networks work 24×7 to keep people alarmed about things which in no way affect their lives.
