There is a lot more ice in the NSIDC ice-free areas than I realized. The satellite image shows that a lot of the non-existent ice is dark

Here is the same image photographed from my screen using my phone, which does some color/gamma correction automatically. There is a lot more ice than the satellite image makes obvious.

They had a very short season in Greenland, where they only collected one microscopic ice cherry and had to wildly exaggerate its size. Now they have moved over to the Chukchi Sea where they hope to collect a few cherries right before winter hits.

Polar Bears are being forced to ignore the several thousand ice floes near Alaska, because experts say that they don’t actually exist.

In 2008, Mark Serreze forecast an ice free North Pole due to the thin ice, which prompted Lewis Pugh to set out in a kayak. He only made it a few miles.

NASA’s top Arctic expert said that the whole Arctic was looking to be gone by 2012, and the Navy’s top expert said 2013 was conservative.

The North Pole still seems to be covered with ice four years later, but alarmists are excited about the prospect that some meaningless number with a +/- 20% variance in interpretation may come in slightly below the same meaningless number from 2007.

Also, PIOMAS tells us that the ice is less than half as thick as it was in 2008, the year it was supposed to melt out because it was so thin.

Almost seven years have passed since Florida was hit by a hurricane, the longest such period on record. Florida averages almost one hurricane per year. During the 1870s, Florida was hit by 12 hurricanes.

What kind of raging moron would attribute a Florida hurricane to climate change?
