Weather Services International, part of the Weather Channel, said the ‘pressure blocking’ system which made recent summers cool and wet has disappeared.

Instead, forecasters expect hot and dry high pressure systems, comparable with patterns which delivered the 2003 and 2006 scorchers.

WSI chief meteorologist Dr Todd Crawford said: “The last four summers have been fairly wet and cool across the UK.

“This was driven by extreme levels of North Atlantic pressure blocking as seen in summers 2007-11 – but that pattern has now seemingly ended.

“Reduced levels of blocking should result in a distinctly different summer this year – with high pressure driving warmer, drier and less windy conditions.

“We expect a summer pattern more like 2002-06, with above-normal temperatures.

Temperatures in Texas today are 10-20 degrees cooler than they were on this date in 1936. On August 12, 1936 Texas set its all time record temperature of 120 degrees.

NOAA says that 2012 is hotter than 1936.

August maximum temperatures in Texas have been in decline for 120 years.

According to satellite data, West Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula are the fastest cooling places on Earth, which is the exact opposite of what the experts have been saying.

Stories abound of a Perth-based Wilson capitalising on the growing WA boom regarding companies other than Thiess Contractors.

Pickering Post has been told, by various sources, of instances of a brash Wilson barging into developers’ boardrooms. The same old union threats to interrupt concrete pours caused ashen-faced board members to reach deep in their pockets.

The graph below shows measured maximum daily temperatures for all USHCN stations in Iowa with records going back to the year 1900. recent years have been 5-9 degrees cooler than the 1930s.

The next graph shows all-time record maximums set or tied at all long-term stations. Recent years have been near the bottom of both graphs.

USHCN raw monthly data shows that maximum temperatures in July were much hotter in 1936, but average temperatures were only slightly hotter in 1936. This is because they are reporting higher minimum temperatures now.

Our friends claim that this is due to more humidity in the air because of global warming.

Just one minor problem with that theory – the reason it was hot in the midwest in July was because of the drought, which caused the humidity to be below normal.

Anyone with half a brain will realize that the USHCN temperature record is severely UHI contaminated, which is why alarmists can’t figure it out.
