It is summer in Greenland, and temperatures were up to a blistering 7F (-14C) on the ice sheet this afternoon. Meanwhile, Antarctica is experiencing the joys of winter at -110F.
Huffington Post expects that sea level will rise 200 feet when the ice sheets melt down. Perhaps they could tell us which one will melt first?
The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission issued a report warning of one metre sea level rise this century. This estimate is completely out of line with a recent study which reported that sea level is rising 1.8 mm/year, and that 0.7mm of that is due to groundwater extraction.
So North Carolinans are fighting back against their morons in government, demanding that only actual data is used – rather than the hysterical hallucinations of government employees.
This effort has brought great ridicule to the sane people in the discussion, because the press now believes that actual measured data is superseded by Hansen’s spectacularly failed computer models.

Government experts tell us that the warm spring in the midwest is proof of global warming. Besides the fact that they are talking about less than 1% of the planet, temperatures in the midwest have been declining for the past 90 years, with 1921 being the hottest year on record.
Richard Feynman said “Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts” – because most experts have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
Globally, NOAA reported in May that the average temperature in April was 1.17 degrees warmer than the average from the past century, making it the fifth-warmest April since at least 1880.
It was the 326th consecutive month that global temperatures exceeded the 20th-century average, NOAA said.

Here in the US, these same good people at NOAA have been adding half a degree on to all temperatures for the last 326 months. Then they tell us that we need to have our taxes raised, because their inflated temperatures have been above average for the last 326 months.
