The Joy Of Satellites

NSIDC claims that the modern satellite record began in 1979. This is a pretty marginal claim, given that we have accurate satellite data going back a decade earlier.

But 1979 is a very convenient year for them – because it was the coldest year in the Arctic temperature record.

By starting in 1979, they are able to produce all kinds of seemingly suitable funding graphs.

Obama Brags About His Unemployment Record With A Fraudulent Graph

The real story of unemployment is that when Barry, Nancy and Harry took over Washington in 2007, the economy tanked.

Democrats win House, promise new direction
POSTED: 6:05 p.m. EST, November 8, 2006

(CNN) — Democrats promised Wednesday to lead the country in a new direction after winning control of the House for the first time in 12 years in midterm elections.

By early Wednesday, Democrats had picked up at least 29 seats; they needed 15 to capture a majority in the House. Two Democratic seats in Georgia that were targeted by Republicans remained too close to call.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-California, is now poised to become the first female speaker of the House.

Pelosi promised to lead the nation in a new direction “in partnership, not in partisanship.”

Democrats win House, promise new direction – CNN.com

Michelle likes living high off the hog at taxpayer expense, so Barry doesn’t want anyone to remember the damage he has done – and has put a new fraudulent graph out.

Besides failing to take responsibility for the disaster him and his fellow dems created, he pulled some tricks in creating the graph.

The Obama campaign has been running the ad all over the internet. When I saw it, something about it caught my eye.

Upon closer inspection, I discovered what it was. The Y-axis distance from 0 to -200,000 jobs is 15 pixels, but the distance from 0 to +200,000 is 20 pixels.

What the Obama campaign has done – in a very subtle way – is to visually and fraudulently inflate their job creation record by a third.

And they thought we were too stupid to notice.

Is CO2 Making Louisiana Sink?

NOAA shows sea level in Louisiana rising at almost one metre per century – the fastest rate on the planet.

Sea Levels Online – Mean Sea Level Trend

Can we save Louisiana by moving back into caves?

Probably not. The graph below shows the Louisiana tide gauge trend line in green, and the Louisiana satellite trend line in red. Almost all of the apparent “sea level rise” in Louisiana is actually due to land subsidence.

Millions Of Climate Refugees Headed To Alaska

I have seen the future and it’s dank, dark and dystopian — and it takes place in Alaska. At least in one Oklahoma author’s eyes, it does.

Last year, as a newbie book producer, I commissioned novelist Jim Laughter in Oklahoma to write a book about mankind’s shaky future on this third rock from the sun, and he immediately said yes. The novel, titled “Polar City Red,” is out now, and the entire story, from page one to the final paragraph, belongs to Mr. Laughter. His name is on the book cover, not mine, and all profits, if any, go to him. It’s his book.

Laughter’s “polar Western” is set in the Last Frontier just 60 years from now, and it poses a very important and headline-mirroring question: Will mankind survive the “climapocalypse” coming our way as the Earth heats up over the next few centuries?

In Jim’s book, sea levels rise and millions of “climate refugees” make their way north to Alaska. Think scavenger camps, “Mad Max” villages, and U.N.-administered “polar cities” — cities of domes, as the author calls them

‘Cli fi’ Novel About Global Warming Set in Alaska | Alaska Dispatch

Alaska just had a brutally cold and snowy winter with record sea ice. Global temperatures have declined this century. Climate alarmism draws its life from ignorance and mental illness.

Scientific American Considers Making Telling The Truth Illegal

NC Considers Making Sea Level Rise Illegal
By Scott Huler | May 30, 2012 |  74

There is virtually universal agreement among scientists that the sea will probably rise a good meter or more before the end of the century, wreaking havoc in low-lying coastal counties. So the members of the developers’  lobbying group NC-20 say the sea will rise only 8 inches, because … because … well, SHUT UP, that’s because why.

That is, the meter or so of sea level rise predicted for the NC Coastal Resources Commission by a state-appointed board of scientists is extremely inconvenient for counties along the coast. So the NC-20 types have decided that we can escape sea level rise – in North Carolina, anyhow – by making it against the law. Or making MEASURING it against the law, anyhow.

NC Considers Making Sea Level Rise Illegal | Plugged In, Scientific American Blog Network

CU satellite data along the coast of North Carolina shows no change in sea level so far this century. But Scientific American says that all scientists agree that sea level is going to rise by more than a metre before the end of the century.

1935 : Russian Ship Sailed 500 Miles From The Pole In Ice-Free Water

“Remarkable Changes”

“Our generation is living in a period when remarkable changes are taking place almost everywhere throughout the world,” writes Professor L. Berg, of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. “‘Certainly these widely distributed phenomena cannot be due to the action of the Gulf Stream, which, however, naturally receives its share of the greater general warmth.” The slow thawing of the Arctic is given as a partial explanation for the record voyages of Soviet ice-breakers to northern latitudes, which have never before been reached by navigating vessels. The Sadko in 1935, in ice- free water of the North Kara Sea, steamed to 82 degrees, 42 minutes of northern latitude—an all-time record.
