Gavin : Hockey Stick Beats Satellites Every Time

“Climate sensitivity is not constrained by the last two decades of imperfect satellite data, but rather the paleoclimate record.”

– Gavin

What do we need NASA for? We have Mikey Mann.

These same idiots who happily believe the bogus interpretations of GRACE and sea level data, can’t accept Spencer’s real data.

Osama Seals Killed By The Taliban

Obama already has plans to turn Afghanistan over to the Taliban. He should have brought everyone home, rather than pretending that we aren’t giving up. Every day he increases his reputation as the most incompetent buffoon to ever grace high office in Washington.

Hottest Summer On Record In Oklahoma?

“THE hottest summer in Oklahoma history.” That’s the storyline for 2011, although it’s a bit early to draw such a conclusion. It was certainly the hottest July in recorded history. What naturally follows from the “hottest summer” conclusion is that anthropogenic global warming is “settled science.”

In  1954, average July maximum temperatures were three degrees higher (106F) than last month (103F) in Hennesey. A number of years in the 1930s and 1950s  had temperatures over 100 degrees in both July and August, and that does not appear likely to happen in 2011, with cooler weather in the forecast.

I see similar patterns in other Oklahoma locations.

CPC Issues La Nina Watch

SAN ANTONIO — Climatologists said Thursday that the La Nina conditions that have contributed to Texas’ worst drought in decades may re-occur later this year — troubling news for the state’s beleaguered farmers and ranchers who also learned there was likely no relief in sight.

The Climate Prediction Center issued a La Nina watch on Thursday, just two months after declaring the last La Nina had ended. The phenomenon, which is marked by a cooling of the tropical Pacific Ocean, typically results in less rain for southern states.
